This magnificent signed Ashes Presentation pays tribute to England’s heroic efforts in 2005 and 2009.
In 2005 Michael Vaughan led England to their first Ashes victory in 18 years with Strauss scoring a massive 393 in the series with a crucial 129 run innings.
In 2009 Andrew Strauss assumed the captain’s mantle, leading England to another Ashes victory and regaining the famous urn after a magnificent final test win over the determined Aussies.
England’s success was built on team work but most agree that their captain and player of the series, Andrew Strauss, played a crucial role in bringing the Ashes home for England.
He was the leading scorer in the series with a total of 474 runs and scored a match winning 161 in England's first victory in an Ashes Test at Lord's in 75 years.
This superb framed presentation centres around a bat personally signed by Strauss. Either side of this are celebration photos of the 2005 and 2009 Ashes teams, with two further photos of the heroes of both series’ Andrew Flintoff and Andrew Strauss.
It is presented in a stunning wood surround with double mounts and plaques that list the result of every Test Match from both series.
It measures in at a large and impressive 90 cm by 63 cm and also supplied is a photo of Strauss signing the bat at an exclusive signing in October 2009.
A stunning item to celebrate two momentous Ashes moments in England cricket history.
